Since moving to Bournemouth I have frequented this delightful establishment and was originally recommended by our friend Roger whom we met when we first arrived in Westbourne. It has a lovely outside area at the back, a little garden in the dry or warmer months and another outside space which has patio heaters to keep one warm as its under cover but outside then inside it is cosy and the owners and staff are helpful, friendly and lovely.
I was there today, Saturday, and as I walked through the door one of the servers, a guy, said hello and then said, you have a flat white don't you which I thought was wonderful that he remembered even though I hadn't been for a while. I sat inside and had a mini coffee macaroon with my coffee. Both absolutely delightful.
They have an excellent menu and I have had in the past the Buck Rarebit, melted cheese on toast with a fried egg on top which is ever so tasty.
Enough said.
Lovely tranquil setting to the rear of the shop.
I was aloud to have my dog sat with me ..cakes are to die for .service friendly and prompt
Try the Eggs Benedict. The fresh hollandaise sauce was perfect over a plump yolky egg & thick, delicious bacon. The toasted muffin was perfection. I and my husband ordered the same thing & we both fell in love with the place. The hazelnut latte was creamy & just right. We offered single/shot of espresso when ordered ours. The staff are friendly & efficient. When we were ready to order, they came to us immediately. The food was on the table within 5-10 minutes. We recommended Patisserie Angelique to our friends that evening at our housewarming party. We will be making use of their brochure to order vol au vents, macaroons & canapes for future social events with friends.
